Introduction
The Zanella website is part of the Tengram Family of Sites (“Tengram Family”). Z Operating LLC (“Zanella,” “we,” “us,” “our”) respects the privacy of every individual who visits www.zanella.com (the “Site”) or responds to our interactive communications. The Site is operated by Zanella. By visiting the Site, you are accepting the practices described in this policy. This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) outlines the information we collect when you visit the Site, make a purchase, or respond to our interactive communications, and how we use that information on the Site and in the Tengram Family.
This Policy was last updated on March 1, 2024. This Site is operated in the United States. If you are located in the European Union, Canada or elsewhere outside of the United States, please be aware that any information you provide to us will be collected in or transferred to the United States. All data described by this policy is stored and processed in the United States.
Collection of Information
Voluntary Information
You may visit and interact with the Site without providing any personal information. Currently, Zanella does not automatically collect what it considers personally identifiable information about you (your name, age, address, telephone number, or e-mail address) unless you provide that information to us voluntarily. For example, if you use the “contact us” section of the Site (also referenced as “contacts”), we ask for your email address. Your email address is all the information we require to respond to your query. You may also choose to provide us with other information, such as your phone number, or in the “message” section, your postal address and information about where you shop. This information is not mandatory, however, and you will not be required to complete it in order to hear from a Zanella representative. If you contact us through email communication, your email address and any relevant information contained in your email will also be collected.
You may sign up to receive our newsletter by providing us your email address. You may later unsubscribe from the email service by following the unsubscribe instructions contained in the email you receive.
You may also choose to register with the Site. If you choose to register, we will collect your email address and your name, along with your shipping and billing address to save you time when making purchases.
We also collect information from other sources, including from social media and other websites associated with zanella.com. For example, if you post a comment on the Zanella Facebook page or send us a message on Instagram, Twitter, or other social media platforms we may collect that information as described in this Policy. Please note that we may combine or cross-reference this information with other information that we collect about you and use it as described in this Policy.
In addition, Zanella may suggest that you post images to your Instagram account with certain hashtags. If you add those hashtags to your image, the image may be redisplayed on our Zanella website. While you retain ownership of the image, using the hashtags we request gives us permission to display the image. The image may contain information about you, and we may collect and use that information for marketing and research purposes (subject to the conditions described below). If you do not want your image posted on our website, please do not use the hashtags listed on the site.
When you make a purchase, we do not collect your payment information. We use companies specialized in collecting and processing your payment information, including stripe.com (as described in detail below).
Managing and Sharing Your Information
When you provide us with personally identifiable information, we may use that information to improve the content of the Site, to notify you about updates to our websites, send you special offers, promotions, and to contact you for marketing purposes (with certain exceptions for our EU visitors, as described below). In order to improve your customer experience, your information is shared with our Tengram Family of websites (again, with exceptions for EU visitors) and any third party service providers we use to maintain the sites or to process order information, including Stripe.com, which is our credit card processing company.
We may release personal information if we believe in good faith that: the law or legal process requires it; we have received a valid administrative request from a law enforcement agency; or such release is necessary to protect our rights, property, or safety, or that of our respective affiliates, business partners, customers, or others. In the event of a sale, merger, or divestiture of the company, or an addition of a new business unit, or the addition of a company to the Tengram family of companies, your information may be shared with those third parties.
From time to time, if you have provided us with your email address (and consent if you are an EU customer), Zanella will send you newsletters, special offers, general information about our products and services, and other email correspondence. Zanella may send your content directly, or we may use our service provider email vendor to send you content. Regardless of the platform we use, Zanella makes commercially reasonable efforts to comply with all state and federal laws, including CAN-SPAM. If you do not want to receive email from us in the future, you may opt out by following the unsubscribe instructions contained in the email you receive. You may also contact us at the postal and/or email address listed in this Policy (info@zanella.com) and request that you not receive digital communications from Zanella or its affiliated websites. At your request, we will make commercially reasonable efforts to delete your information from our active files, provided, however, that we may retain—for legal compliance purposes only—your request and associated email in a hashed format so that we do not inadvertently restore your information to our database.
Please note that even if you request that we no longer send you marketing messages and/or delete your data, if you order online, we will send you an email confirming your order and may need to contact you by phone, email, or regular mail if we have questions about your order. We will retain the information you provide in connection with your order for as long as we have a legitimate interest in maintaining it for administrative purposes (such as returns).
In the event Zanella conducts an online promotion, contest, or sweepstakes (collectively, a “Promotion”), information we collect will be used consistent with the terms and conditions outlined in the promotion guidelines or rules, which may include a reference to this Policy. You can elect to provide permission for Zanella to use the email address and/or telephone number you provide when entering a Promotion for sending you marketing messages. However, you are only required to provide such permission in order to participate in a Promotion if it is necessary for the running of the promotion. For instance, if we request your email address or your social media handle because it is used to notify you if you’ve won and/or to send your prize, and you do not want to provide it, you will not be able to participate in the Promotion. Information you provide us will be used to administer the promotion. If you have not opted in to receive further communications about upcoming promotions, your identifying data will be retained only for as long as it is necessary to administer the Promotion and legally comply with our obligations that extend from your participation, including prize awarding, reporting obligations, and other legitimate matters.
If you would like to revoke your consent to receiving commercial messages you have previously opted in to receive as the result of a Promotion, you can use he unsubscribe link in any marketing message. If you have previously provided express written consent to receive commercial text promotions, you can reply “STOP” to any marketing text message you receive. You may also send an e-mail to info@zanella.com that contains the email address or phone number you wish to revoke consent for marketing messages. Please note that your inclusion of your mobile number in an order is consent to allow Zanella to send you non-marketing messages about your order or account.
Zanella may also use third parties to process your personal data when it serves a legitimate business purpose (such as fulfillment services, technical support, delivery services, and financial institutions). These third-party processors include, but are not limited to, Dyode, Digital Matter, Sellect, King & Partners, PayPal, Apple Pay, and Avalara. Our contracts with these third party processors require them to comply with the terms and the intent of this privacy policy, and make commercially reasonable efforts to safeguard your information.
If you do not want your personally identifiable information collected, please do not submit it to us. If you have already submitted this information and would like us to remove it from our records, please contact us at the postal or email address listed in this Policy. As noted above, we will make commercially reasonable efforts, consistent with industry standards, to close your account and delete your information. We cannot guarantee that information provided by you to us that has already been stripped of identifiable content, will be removed. As described elsewhere in this policy, in certain circumstances we cannot immediately delete your information, as we may be required to retain it for legal compliance or other legitimate business purposes.
Our email address is: info@zanella.com
Our Postal Address for our data control is:

Pursuant to your reasonable request, we will provide you or a third-party you specify with a list of all of your personal information that Zanella has collected, in a form that is portable to you.
Similarly, upon your request, we will make corrections to our records of your personal data.
We keep your information only for as long as we have a legitimate business purpose, and only that information required for the particular purpose for which you provided it. We will retain your personal information while you have an active relationship with Zanella, including if you have subscribed to a newsletter or other commercial/marketing content from us, have visited the site while logged in, have ordered a product, participated in a promotion, or have affirmatively made requests of us that we, or our data processors, are fulfilling. We will maintain your information for two years after that relationship ends, unless you request that we delete your information prior to the expiration of that period, which you may do at any time following the instructions here. Except as required under the law, your request will be honored within thirty days. If Zanella determines that it no longer requires your information for the purposes set forth above, including any legal purposes, it will delete your information.
